By placing an order with APL BUY INS you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of sale:

Placing A Buy In Order

Buy Ins will run every 2 to 3 weeks and will have close dates in the description.  All Buy Ins will be labelled in periods (Example 2018-01 will be the first Buy In of 2018).  This information will be used for shipping (see below). 

All items will have have a price, description and photo.  If you require additional information please contact me. 

Please place all orders online using the shopping cart provided. All orders will automatically go to PayPal.  To pay by Etransfer, please see below procedures. 

All orders must be placed and payment in full received by 9:00 CST on the close date.  Orders received after this time or without full payment cannot be processed. 

Buy Ins purchases that are made after the cut off or do not meet minimums will be cancelled and refunded, less a 10% administration fee. 

Pay via ETransfer

Please use the Google Form as posted on Facebook Group.  Contact me for more information. All orders place by the Google Form are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sale as outlined on this website.  
Once Google Form is completed an Invoice will be sent with directions on how to pay via ETransfer will be sent. 

Payment Procedures

There are two payment parts to your order. 

Part One - Full payment of the product you ordered is required at the time of order. 

Part Two - Shipping once order has arrived.  Actual shipping is charged via Canada Post Expedited  See Shipping Quotes and Payment procedures below.

Shipping Quotes and Payment

Shipping quotes are available prior to order placement.  Please provide your Postal Code, item description and quantity to get an estimate.

All items are ready for shipment within three days of arrival to me.  You will receive a shipping invoice that is due within 4 days of issue, after four days, additional charges may occur as a reprint of shipping label maybe required.  All shipments are sent via Canada Post Expedited Parcel and tracking numbers are provided. 

*Items purchased in the same Buy In Period will be held and shipped when all items arrive unless otherwise requested. 

Pick Up and Delivery Options

Free Pick Up available in Hague or in Saskatoon (limited times available)

Free Delivery available as follows:

          Hague - as needed
          Warman, Osler, Martensville - 1st and 3rd Monday of every month* from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  
          Saskatoon - 2nd and 4th Monday of every month* from 4:45 pm to 7:00 pm

*Statutory Holiday Monday deliveries will take place on the following Tuesday.

*Times are in two hour increments and exact times are not provided as they are dependent on the amount of deliveries that week.  

*Pick Up and Delivery not available on weeks store is on vacation. 

**Please Note: Once Delivery Date is confirmed, you agree that someone will be available to accept the delivery on your behalf during the delivery time frame.  If no one is available, you agree to Porch Drop Off and A Pirate's Life is not responsible for lost or stolen packages under these circumstances.   If Porch Drop off is not available, buyer is responsible for pick up and a $15.00 No Show fee will be charged and must be paid prior to pick up. 

Forfeiture of Items

Shipped Items - All Shipping Invoices must be paid within 30 days or items are forfeited and become property of APL. 

Picked Up Items - All items must be picked up within 30 days or items are forfeited and become property of APL.

Delivered Items - All items must be delivered within 30 days - minimum of 2 delivery time options -  or items are forfeited and become property of APL.

Estimated Arrival Date

Each Buy In will have two dates listed:  Expected Date and Promised By Date.  Both dates are when I will receive the item.  Please add 3 days for me to process the items and then Canada Post Shipping time to these dates for delivery to you. 

          Expected Date:  Estimated Arrival date provided by the vendor

          Promised By Date: If the item has not arrived to me you will be given the option of canceling the order for the item and receiving a full refund,

          or continuing to wait for the item.  If you choose to wait, cancellation option will be forfeited.  Option will be provided by the end of day on the 

          Promised By Date and response is required within 48 hours or cancellation option will be forfeited. 

Cancellation refunds will be done in two parts 50% at time of cancellation and remaining 50% when I get refund from supplier,  or within 30 days of cancellation date, whichever comes first. 


Once order has been placed and payment has been received, order cannot be cancelled. 

All items are final sale unless there is damage. Please read descriptions carefully and ask questions if additional information is required.

If damage occurs during shipping, you must let me know right away to proceed with shipping damage claim.  Photos of damaged box and damaged items are required.  When signing for package, you must note package arrived damaged with Canada Post or a claim cannot be made. 


If you change your mind I do offer the opportunity to list your items as a Ready To Ship stock item.  To do this, items must be in my possession.  A 15% reselling fee will be charged on all items sold on your behalf. 

Ready To Ship (In Stock) Items

Limited quantities of some previous Buy Ins are available.  These items will be ready to ship once payment is received. Stock Item prices may differ than Buy In price at the discretion of APL. 

Special Notes

APL Buy Ins in not responsible for any damages caused during the heat press or other means of transfer process.  Please ensure that labels are read, adhered to and proper settings are used on your machine.
